One-Week Summer School on Global Chemistry and Climate of the Troposphere and Lower Stratosphere
Topics will include: Tropospheric ozone budget; role of organic species; water vapour, clouds and aerosols; radiation; tropospheric dynamics (tropical and extratropical); the tropical tropopause layer; polar stratospheric clouds; stratospheric ozone and climate; general circulation modelling

20 paid scholarships covering accommodation are available; applications for scholarships are due by March 31, 2003. Preference will be given to graduate students at Canadian universities
The accommodation will be at the UQÀM residences in Montréal. Those applicants not gaining a scholarship and who require accommodation will be required to book their own accommodation, by contacting the residence directly. The cost is $55 per night for the studio rooms. Applicants gaining a scholarship will have their rooms booked for them.
The Summer School is organized by the GCC Project, and supported by funding from NSERC and CFCAS
